Overview

With a total of just over 120 employees, Central Contractors Service and Central Rent-a-Crane is a close-knit organization capable of serving markets in greater Chicago, northern Indiana, southern Illinois, St. Louis, Missouri, and Iowa. Our size affords us the luxury of maintaining close personal relationships with our customers. And yet, we have the added resources of the ALL Erection & Crane Rental nationwide network of companies and fleets, should the equipment you need not be available from our own extensive local fleet. It is this combination of strengths that inspires familiarity and confidence in the customers we serve.

We are crane specialists, offering machines ranging from 2.5 to 1,000 tons. We have manlifts from small push-around units to articulating and straight boom units with working heights of 156 feet. Our truck and crawler cranes range from 25 to 1,000 ton lift capacities. We have hydraulic cranes from 5 to 650 tons. Our tower crane division offers Terex/Peiner and Manitowoc cranes from 300 meter-tons to 650 meter-tons with full engineering and servicing capabilities.

Central also has an Aerial Lift Division, run by Kathi Kohr. We carry a wide variety of lift equipment from small push-around units to 150' booms. Aerial work platforms have been proven to significantly increase productivity and safety when used in lieu of scaffolding and ladders.
